Over the past 13 years, Beirut Digital District has grown alongside Beirut’s digital ecosystem, guided by a simple belief: real growth happens when like-minded communities move together.
In 2025, this journey found a shared expression through Beirut Dares to Dream – an initiative that brought together years of community-building under one unifying narrative and carried the spirit of BDD beyond the campus.
At its core, the campaign was created to shed the light on the people behind the progress: the founders, professionals, creatives, and dreamers who continue to shape Lebanon’s future, thriving despite challenges and refusing to give up on its potential.

A Community of Dreamers & Doers
During 2025, 800+ events took place at BDD, contributing to Lebanon’s vibrant startup and innovation ecosystem.
Throughout the year, we welcomed 31,000+ event attendees to BDD, bringing together innovators, creators, and entrepreneurs under one dynamic and ever-evolving ecosystem. To highlight some of the most inspiring partnered moments, here are key events we were proud to be part of in 2025:
The ecosystem also continued to grow. Over 30 companies joined the BDD community, while more than 10 existing members scaled their operations, expanding teams and creating new job opportunities. These milestones underscore Beirut’s growing role as a launchpad for ideas with global potential.

The Next Generation of Daring Dreamers
Talent development remained at the heart of our mission, because the future of Beirut depends on the skills we nurture today. Through Forward MENA, BDD’s Educational Arm and nammiskills, a digital learning platform focused on upskilling talent for the evolving job market, we continued to invest in building future-ready skills.
Commitment to Sustainable & Inclusive Growth
Because dreaming big also means building responsibly, for the city, the people, and the generations ahead, social impact extended beyond infrastructure. Throughout the year, BDD continued to advance principles aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring accessible spaces, convening inclusive events, and working alongside partners such as the UN Global Compact to raise awareness around responsible, equitable growth.
Twice in 2025, BDD hosted inclusive community markets in collaboration with the British Council, to showcase and sell handcrafted products and creative pieces crafted by persons with disabilities. Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to creating environments where equality is not an aspiration, but a reality.
Finally, our commitment to environmental and social impact remained an integral part of how we operate, reflected in measurable progress across sustainability initiatives, including increased green recycling efforts and responsible resource management.
