Wellbeing and Sustainable Workplace Performance: BDD Welcomes Premayāna

For many professionals, founders, and business leaders, operating under pressure has become part of everyday life. They invest time and energy into growing their businesses, advancing their careers, and achieving their goals, but often overlook the foundation that makes all of this possible: their own wellbeing.

At BDD, we believe that a thriving community is built not only through innovation, collaboration, and opportunity, but also by creating an environment where people can recharge.

That’s why BDD is welcoming Premayāna, a new wellbeing space designed to help professionals reset, regulate, and return to their work with greater clarity, resilience, and focus.

From High Performance to Sustainable Performance

Few people understand the demands of high-performance environments better than Yāna Nancy Sebaali, founder of Premayāna.

Before creating Premayāna, Yāna spent 18 years in international wealth management, holding executive leadership roles at Société Générale, Indosuez Wealth Management, and Credit Suisse. Throughout her career, she led teams across the MENA region while navigating the demands and expectations that come with high-pressure leadership roles.

Her journey was shaped by a realization that many professionals can relate to:

“For years I was the best performer in the room, at my own expense.”

While achieving professional success, Yāna came to understand that sustainable performance requires more than ambition, discipline, and constant productivity. It also requires self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to create space to pause and recharge.

This realization led her to create Premayāna, combining her corporate leadership experience with somatic practices, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, pranic & Theta Healing, from a trauma-informed lens to help individuals and teams develop healthier and more sustainable ways of working and leading.

In the years since, Yāna Nancy has led workshops, retreats and seminars internationally across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America working with groups from intimate circles to large groups, alongside one-to-one work with executives and founders. That experience is what she now brings to Lebanon and to BDD.

The need for this approach is becoming increasingly evident in the workplace. According to the CIPD Health and Wellbeing at Work Report 2025, stress remains a significant contributor to workplace absence, while the average number of employee absence days has increased to 9.4 days per year.

Similarly, Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace Report highlights the relationship between wellbeing, engagement, and performance, with only 20% of employees globally reporting that they are engaged at work. Gallup estimates that low engagement costs the global economy approximately $10 trillion in 2025.

Research highlighted by Harvard Business Review also suggests that mindfulness-based practices can help reduce stress and support greater focus, awareness, and decision-making.

Bringing Wellbeing Into the BDD Experience

Welcoming Premayāna is another step in supporting our community beyond the workspace, recognizing that sustainable performance starts with wellbeing.  By creating intentional moments to pause and recharge, individuals can return to their work with renewed energy and perspective.

This is at the heart of BDD’s Work, Live, Play philosophy, bringing together professional growth, personal wellbeing, and meaningful experiences to create a community where people can truly thrive.

Premayāna is now open at BDD1079, with community rates available to BDD community members. Book your session and discover the experience.
